Michael Crichton, the best-selling author of “Jurassic Park,” “Disclosure,” “The Andromeda Strain,” and many other books-turned-into-movies, died today at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer.
We tend to think of him as the book-movie guy, but he also created, wrote, and executive produced the TV series “ER.” Few people have spanned movies, TV […]

“You should let me go.” Oohhhweeeee! I haven’t been all that keen on Keanu Reeves movies lately, but when he utters that line in the trailer for “The Day the Earth Stood Still,” I’m so there.
A new feature has been added to the official Web site called “Gort Lives!”
In […]

This week’s Entertainment Weekly has a few answers. They say: “Hollywood […]

This 5-minute trailer for “The Day the Earth Stood Still” was released today, although it’s very similar to the extended trailer shown with “Fringe” several weeks ago. Keanu Reeves is the perfect guy for this role, isn’t he?

“Sleeper” has landed a new writer, Brad Inglesby. The DC Comics/Wildstorm graphic novel was picked up for adaptation by Warner Bros. in August. It’s scheduled for a 2011 release.

While The Incredible Hulk doesn’t come close to Iron Man in terms of awesomeness, it’s still a great movie with cool special effects. It comes out on DVD/Blu-ray Oct. 21 (check out the DVD details here), and I’ve got a sneak peek at some of the bonus features below.
The film stars Edward Norton […]

When I think of Branagh, I think of the […]

I saw Eagle Eye on Friday, and we both enjoyed it. Check out my review here, and listen to Shia LaBeouf talk about the movie. He seems tired, doesn’t he? Like he’s thinking, oh god, another interview! Maybe he needs a vacation, after all the movies he’s done lately.
