Coming Soon: Fred Claus
Just in time for the holidays, Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti’s Fred Claus will soon be in theaters.
Usually, I’m not a big fan of holiday movies, but I think I’m going to give it a shot. It looks like it will be a more fun and satirical approach than your standard "heart-warming" holiday movie. Vaughn and Giamatti are such fantastic and funny actors and checking out the previews, it looks like this one will rank right up there with previous off-beat holiday hits like Will Ferrell’s Elf.
Not to mention that it was filmed in my new home of Chicago. Always cool to see places you recognize on screen.

Santa’s little-known brother, embittered by living in the shadow of his sibling’s spotlight, is forced to move back to the North Pole. ‘Tis the season for another slightly off-color Christmas comedy. This year, instead of Billy Bob Thornton or Will Ferrell spreading the holiday cheer, its Vaughn taking the reigns opposite Giamatti. Wait, are you sure there isn’t a Wilson brother is this? Does it matter? Not unlike his previous outing with Dobkin (Wedding Crashers), this one will still bring in a sleigh full of cash even if you can’t bring the kids.

Alright, so this morning i’ve been checking out some reviews for the movie and it didn’t look so hot so i am kinda down, so i hope when i go watch it tonight, it will be a blast since i love dark humor. the elves in the movie are soo adorable and they have been on the Elf Tour across the US promoting their movie and I’ve been following them on zannel so it is pretty cool how they post their travels.

I think i’m going to go see it as well. Some reviews haven’t been great but I love Vince Vaughn and am willing to give it a shoot. Let me know what you think after you see it!
