Disney: Watch Our Movies Online
Now you can find Nemo, hang with the Monsters, and get Freaky on Friday, all online for free.
For the first time, Disney will stream full-length movies on its Web site as part of its Wonderful World of Disney series on ABC, running now through August. I guess with so many movie options available, from NetFlix to Hulu to the gazillion cable channels, it’s the studios’ way of keeping up with the trends.

Right now, Finding Nemo is available at www.Disney.com/WWoD through Friday after the film aired Saturday on ABC. Monsters Inc., Haunted Mansion, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Princess Diaries 2, Freaky Friday and Peter Pan also will be available on the site this summer.
In a Hollywood Reporter story, a Disney spokesman said the decision to stream movies for free marks an “evolution” in the company’s online strategy. Disney Channel already streams many TV episodes online for free.
Other studios are headed that way, too. Fox, Universal, Lionsgate and MGM have all offered free movies on Hulu, owned by NBC Universal/News Corp. Up til now, Disney has offered films on iTunes for a fee.
What do you think? Will you watch movies online? Personally, unless I’m watching them to review — which I usually do either in a theater or on my little office TV — I need to be horizontal with popcorn and kids around.

I was scrolling down the site, feeling a bit empty, suddenly saw the picture at the top of this post, and barely restrained myself from shrieking “NEMO!” (I’m in the office).
Brilliant idea - Disney films online. Love it! :)
