Embrace Adventure: A Movie a Week!
My pal and writing colleague, Elizabeth Kricfalusi, is not only a talented writer, she’s also an adventurer who’s making me re-examine my stodgy old ways.
On her blog, Embrace Adventure, Elizabeth challenges us to be adventurous, get out of our comfort zone, and have some fun along the way.
She writes about her adventures in Antarctica (yes, she’s been there!), Hollywood (she went to the Emmys!), and Squirreldom (a topic I totally get, since some of my favorite office-mates are squirrels — well, on the other side of the window, that is). Check out Elizabeth’s blog. You rawk, girlfriend! She’s pictured here at the Emmys with Greg Grunberg from Heroes.
Elizabeth’s latest adventure is to see A Movie a Week. So far, she’s seen Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Sex and the City, Young@Heart, and When Did You Last See Your Father?.
Next up, she’ll be seeing Get Smart and possibly You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, although I think you should definitely save your cash on that one, E!
So what say you, Gecko-ites? Up for seeing a movie a week? As Elizabeth says, there’s a great lineup this summer and no time like the present, so why not? Which movies are YOU looking forward to seeing? Share YOUR movie adventures!

Thanks for the compliment, Jane! (Blushing now…)
And thanks for encouraging people to Embrace Adventure.
If any of your readers have suggestions for movies I should add to my list (or that I should avoid!), I’d love to hear them.
