Hilary Duff wants to be in "New Moon," too!

I just posted the other day that everybody in Hollywood (and their mother) wants to score a part in "New Moon." Now Hilary Duff has jumped on that bandwagon.

Vanessa Hudgens, Dakota Fanning, and the Jonas Brothers have all yearned for a spot in the credits, and "90210" star AnnaLynne McCord has auditioned for the part of Heidi.

Hilary Duff was recently spotted at the Mercedes Benz Fashion week, talking with "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli about how badly she wants a role in the sequel.

A source recently told Hollyscoop.com, "Hilary told Peter how bad she wants to be in the next ‘Twilight’ movie. Hilary said that she would want to be one of the vampires in the movie."

Hmmm … the character of Heidi has yet to be cast. But along with Vanessa and Dakota, Hilary would have to do some serious darkening of her image to score a role like that. Though she does look somewhat emo in this still from "War, Inc." (read my interview with director Josh Seftel here).

Any thoughts on this?

    Note To Hilary:

    So you wannbe in New Moon? Me, too! Unfortunately, I’m not an actress and would just be in the way because I would not be able to do anything but stare at and drool on Rob Pattinson 24/7. Me thinks that your being “desperate” to get a role in New Moon means you’d probably be doing the same thing. I’ve never seen you in a truly serious role so I think you’d better stick with Disney until you can get a lot more dramatic acting experience…say 30 years? Please tell your fellow Disney actors that goes for them, too. So no auditon for now…NEXT!

    I know you wanna be in New Moon right? well..raven unfortunately as you said you’re not an actress..so sad!!Oh but you know what? hilar is, so i think that she has enough experinece to be in new moon while you stupid girl or boy can’t say if hilary can be or not in that movie so you better shut up because that hilary is or isn’t in the movie is not up to you so…don’t waste your energy ok…beside that i think hilary would be greay in new moon i say tha i would wish that she is in the movie!!!!!

    i reckon hilary would be great in new moon! and if she dosen’t get an acting part she might be able to contribute to the soundtrack but eithe way would be good
