Knowing - Preview & Trailer

I haven’t been that intrigued by Nicolas Cage’s recent movies. Well, I’ve liked his “National Treasure” movies because they’re just good clean fun. But I wasn’t that crazy about “Bangkok Dangerous.” But “Knowing” looks like it could be good.
In “Knowing,” Rose Byrne plays the daughter of a woman who buried a 1962 time capsule, along with the dates of the assassinations of historical figures, the hotel fire death of the wife of a professor (Cage) and an imminent world apocalypse. After the professor discovers its contents and alerts her, the skeptical Byrne begins remembering strange incidents from her childhood.
Directed by Alex Proyas, “Knowing” hits theaters this Friday, March 20, 2009. It’s rated PG-13 for disaster sequences, disturbing images and brief strong language. Check out the trailer:
