Body of Lies. Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio star in this thriller about a CIA operative who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. But whom can he trust? [Gecko Preview & Trailer] [Official Site]

The Express. Ernie Davis (Rob Brown) overcame many obstacles to get into Syracuse University’s football program. Under the guidance of Coach Ben Schwartzwalder (Dennis Quaid), Davis became one of the school’s best players and, in 1961, the first black player to win the Heisman Trophy. Quarantine. TV reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman (Steve Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find the cops already on the scene, responding to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. Yep, it’s rated R and involves a quarantine. This movie sounds scary! [Official Site]

More after the jump…

City of Ember. I haven’t heard much about this movie, but it looks good — and hopefully good for kids, too. It revolves around the City of Ember, an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember’s once powerful generator is failing, and two teenagers must search for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city’s existence. Stars Bill Murray, Tim Robbins, Harry Treadaway, and Saoirse Ronan, who shined in Atonement. Rated PG for mild peril and some thematic elements. [Official Site]

RocknRolla (limited). When a Russian mobster orchestrates a crooked land deal, millions of dollars are up for grabs, and all of London’s criminal underworld wants in on the action. Everyone from a dangerous crime lord to a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and down-on-their-luck petty thieves conspire, collude and collide in an effort to get rich quick. Rated R, this movie is directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Gerard Butler, Tom Wilkinson, and Thandie Newton. [Official Site]

Happy-Go-Lucky (limited). Sally Hawkins is Poppy, a free-spirited school teacher and single woman in London. When her bike is stolen, she signs up for driving lessons with Scott (Eddie Marsan), who turns out to be her polar opposite – a fuming, uptight cynic who takes himself extremely seriously. Rated R, this movie sounds quirky and fun. [Official Site]

Breakfast With Scot (Limited). Eric and Sam (Ben Shenkman) have been in a committed relationship for four years. Eric’s a former hockey player turned sportscaster, and Sam’s a sport’s lawyer. But when Sam’s adventure seeking brother Billy (Colin Cunningham) takes a job in South America, his ex-girlfriend, Julie is found dead from a drug overdose leaving her son Scot (Noah Bernett) to Billy.
