Now Playing: One Missed Call
"One Missed Call" comes to theaters today and I won’t be there to see this remake of the Japanese horror film "Chakushin Ari" (2003).
It’s about a college student who misses a cell phone call, but when she checks her messages, listens to herself getting murdered three days in the future. It just looks a little too gimmicky for me and, to be honest, I always prefer the Japanese version of films.
Reviews are pretty hard to come by for this movie but the early ones on Rotten Tomatoes have not been good.

I’m with you. There is no way I am watching that movie. It’s bad enough that the stupid promotional pictures scare the heck out of me.

Why do all the scary movies always have to do with teens or college students? I’d like to see some forty-year-olds getting run down in a movie.

Kareen - the stupid pics were really hard for me to put up. I didn’t even want to look at them (or for that movie “The Orphanage”). Scary!!!
Yearwood - you’re right!!!! That would be a much different movie too!
