Rob Zombie talks Halloween II, Michael Myers, and Twilight!

August 27, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

Writer/director Rob Zombie is about the most un-Hollywood guy you’ll ever see, but he’s managed to create an amazing career and fan base with films like "Halloween" and now "Halloween II," hitting theaters Aug. 28, 2009.

Michael Myers (Tyler Mane) is still at large and still as frightening as ever. Meanwhile, his sister Laurie Strode (Scout Taylor-Compton) is struggling to come to terms with the fact that Michael’s out there and continuing his murderous rampage. Sounds like fun!

MTV Rough Cut caught up with Zombie who talks about why he decided to make the sequel, whether – as rumored — Michael Myers will talk, and what he really thought of "Twilight."

Zombie on Halloween: "You don’t want to admit that you’re an adult."

Why Rob Zombie made "Halloween II": "I got protective."

Zombie sets the record straight: Michael Myers doesn’t talk.

Zombie on "Halloween III": "There’s nothing more for me to do."

Zombie on "Twilight": "I would have enjoyed it more if I were a 14-year-old girl."

Zombie on "Tyrannosaurus Rex": "It’s not a horror movie."

Zombie on Pirate movies: "I’d love to make a pirate movie."
