Director Chris Weitz has confirmed that “New Moon” will be shot in Vancouver, British Columbia; Rome; and L.A.; and filming will begin in March of 2009.

Yep, "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson says he’s dreading his blood-sucking role in the film’s sequel, "New Moon." But it’s not for the reason you might think. He hates the contact lenses he has to wear for the movie!

“New Moon” has a release date! The sequel to “Twilight” is heading to theaters Nov. 20, 2009.
On that same day, it’ll be up against Warner Bros.’ “Sherlock Holmes,” starring Robert Downey, Jr., Sony’s “Planet 51,” and MGM’s untitled “Three Stooges” project. That doesn’t seem so daunting, not that it would matter.
