"Superhero Movie" Preview & Trailer
My 13-year-old son keeps asking, “Is ‘Superhero Movie’ out yet?” His prayers will be answered on Friday, March 28, 2008. This movie looks like goofy fun, and after a long winter, we’re looking forward to a few laughs.
Directed by Craig Mazin (writer of several “Scary Movie” films), “Superhero Movie” tells the story of Rick Riker (Drake Bell), a young, hip guy who gets bitten by a genetically-enhanced dragonfly. Pretty soon, he’s climbing buildings and pushing old ladies out of the path of oncoming trucks.
No superhero movie is safe, as this one takes aim at “Spider-Man,” “Batman,” “The X-Men,” and “Fantastic Four,” to name a few. The cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Tracy Morgan, Pamela Anderson, Regina Hall, and many others, including Brent Spiner (”Data” on “Star Trek: The Next Generation”).

I saw the preview for this movie and it looks soo funny! I’ll be sure to watch it when it comes out. Doesn’t it come out this Friday? I’ll have to check! But I know where I’ll be this Saturday, curled up on the couch watching the Kids Choice Awards! Drake Bell is nominated along with Josh Peck for favorite tv actor and fave tv show! Does anyone here plan on watching the show as well? If you plan on watching, then you might as well be voting for who you guys want to see win! I’m so rootin for Drake and Josh, I think they’re so funny! The show comes on this Saturday the 29th and is being hosted by Jack Black for the 2nd year in a row! Soo excited. Everyone soo needs to vote!
