Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Preview & Trailer
July 2, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
When my kids were little, one of our favorite books was “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” by Judi and Ron Barrett. I think I liked it probably more than the kids. Just the idea of having food raining down on you whenever you’re hungry is a pretty entertaining idea. Ok, my adult-self thinks it would get really messy, but my kid-self says bring it on!
The animated big screen version hits theaters Sept. 18, 2009, and features the voices of Anna Faris, Bruce Campbell, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, James Caan, Tracy Morgan, and Mr. T. Yes, Mr. T! It’s directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who’ve done some episodes of “How I Met Your Mother” and other TV shows and a few movies.
The official site doesn’t give a lot of clues about the story, other than the raining-food part, but it still looks cute as all get out. And of course, on the site you’ll find fun downloads and games, like 3D Food Fight, Stump the Monkey, and Sticker Studio. Here’s the trailer playing in theaters right now:
Anna Faris’ Sexy GQ Photo Shoot – VIDEO
March 18, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Anna Faris will soon be seen in theaters as Brandi in “Observe and Report,” a comedy about a bi-polar mall security guard (Seth Rogen) who’s called on to stop a flasher from, well, flashing. That hits theaters April 10, 2009.
Until then, feast your eyes on Anna Faris’ sexy photo shoot for GQ Magazine. She played the naive, sexy Playboy bunny in “The House Bunny,” and it looks like she’s continuing that trend with this photo shoot, where she dons skimpy duds and lounges by a pool with a furry friend. She may be sexy, but she’s also really adorable!

"House Bunny" Anna Faris Lines up Two Projects
December 5, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
I can’t say that “The House Bunny” was my favorite movie of the year, but Anna Faris is so cute and sweet, it’s hard not to come away with a good feeling in your heart.
Now she’s lined up two projects. One is a romantic comedy called “20 Times a Lady.” Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan wrote the script, based on the book by Karyn Bosnak. It centers on a woman who journeys through her sexual past in an effort to find Mr. Right, wondering if a person’s sexual quota matters. I’m thinking of that scene in “Four Weddings and a Funeral” where Andie MacDowell and Hugh Grant discuss their past lovers.
The other is an untitled Paramount project - a female buddy comedy following two estranged sisters who team up to land a husband.

Anna Faris - Rising Star
November 6, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
Anna Faris was the best thing about “The House Bunny,” and now she’s getting some recognition. Faris is being honored with the Rising Star Tribute from the Bahamas International Film Festival, Dec. 4 - 11 in Nassau, Bahamas. Hmmm, I’m thinking that would be a great one to attend at that time of year!
