Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper dating again!

June 19, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

I’ve seen Bradley Cooper in a number of projects, including “He’s Just Not That Into You,” but I really fell in love with him in “The Hangover.” It’s a smart, funny movie about guys on a bender in Vegas. It’s a lot smarter than it sounds!

Apparently, Jennifer Aniston is feeling the vibe, too, because CelebTV.com is reporting that they’re dating again. The two were spotted on a romantic dinner date at Il Cantinori in New York City. May I just say that these two would make beautiful babies? Thank you.

The A-Team moves forward with Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper

June 10, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

Must every cheesy 1980s show be made into a movie? Apparently, so. Now “The A-Team” is jumping on the feature film bandwagon. The story will follow the original plot about a group of framed, on-the-run war vets who pull capers while evading the military.

Bradley Cooper has been rumored for a while to play Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, originally played by Dirk Benedict in the NBC series helmed by Stephen J. Cannell.

Liam Neeson is in talks to take on the role of Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, played by George Peppard in the TV series. The roles of "Howling Mad" Murdock (originally Dwight Schultz) and "B.A." Baracus (Mr. T) are yet to be cast. Original writer Stephen Cannell is on board for the script, with Ridley Scott and Tony Scott producing.

Directed by Joe Carnahan (”Smokin’ Aces”) from a screenplay by Derek Haas and Michael Brandt (”Wanted”), the big-budget flick already has a June 11, 2010, release date.

I dunno … I guess I can see it, but they’re going to have to pull out all the stops on stunts and special effects to get my interest. We’ll see who they get for the remaining roles. That’s pretty cool that Stephen J. Cannell is onboard, though!

"He’s Just Not That Into You" Trailer

I posted a preview of "He’s Just Not That Into You" a while back, but the YouTube video got pulled, so let’s try this again. Click here to read more about the movie and see the poster, and check out the trailer below.

The advance reviews for this romantic comedy haven’t been all great, but I love all the players — Jennifer Connelly, Bradley Cooper, Kevin Connolly, Ginnifer Goodwin, Justin Long, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Drew Barrymore, and Ben Affleck. So even if the movie isn’t a knock-out, I have a feeling I’ll still like it. It hits theaters this Friday, Feb. 6, 2009.

"All About Steve" – Sneak Peek - VIDEO

January 19, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Sandra Bullock in a movie. This one looks fun, though I’m still deciding whether I like her hair or not. It’s kind of cool, in a retro-chic-shag way. Here’s my big philosophical question of the day: Do you like Sandra’s hair or not? Tell me in the comments below!

In the meantime, here’s the trailer for her upcoming movie, "All About Steve." Bullock plays a brilliant, but eccentric crossword puzzle aficionado who’s convinced that a CNN cameraman (Bradley Cooper) is her one true love. In theaters March 6, 2009.

"Yes Man" Review

December 19, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

Movie: Yes Man * Official Site * Trailer In Theaters: Dec. 19, 2008
Runtime: 104 minutes Directed by: Peyton Reed
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for crude sexual humor, language and brief nudity Gecko Rating:

Sometimes you have a movie that’s pretty funny overall, but includes one scene that just ruins the rest of the movie. Such is the case with “Yes Man,” starring Jim Carrey as a guy who’s always said “no” his whole life, but gets roped into a Tony Robbins-type seminar where he starts saying “Yes” to everything. The messiah-type leader, played by Terence Stamp, awkwardly forces him to make a covenant on the “yes” thing.

You can imagine the implications of saying “yes” to everything! There are lots of things you probably shouldn’t say “yes” to, so it puts Carrey’s character, Carl Allen, into some interesting situations. The scene I mentioned involves an older woman (we’re talking 70s or 80s) who, uh, pleasures Carl. She approaches him, and when he tries to say no, bad things start to happen, so he goes back to saying “yes.” It’s all very awkward - for Carl and for the movie audience.

"Yes Man" - Preview & Trailer

December 4, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

Jim Carrey has grown on me in recent years, and his upcoming movie, “Yes Man,” looks pretty darn funny.

Carrey stars as Carl Allen, a guy whose life is going nowhere until he signs up for a self-help program based on one simple covenant: say “yes” to everything. Unleashing the power of “YES” begins to transform Carl’s life in amazing and unexpected ways, getting him promoted at work and opening the door to a new romance. But is his willingness to embrace every opportunity too much of a good thing? I’m guessing the answer to that is Yes!

“Yes Man” hits theaters Dec. 19, 2008, and is rated PG-13 for crude sexual humor, language and brief nudity. Also stars Zooey Deschanel, Terence Stamp, Bradley Cooper, Danny Masterson, and Molly Sims.

"He’s Just Not That Into You" - Preview & Trailer

November 27, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

I was just lamenting to a friend that there don’t seem to be that many chick-flicks out lately. We had “Sex and the City” earlier this year, “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” “Enchanted,” “Nights in Rodanthe” and a few others. Really, not a lot, though.

But this one looks like a great chick-flick! “He’s Just Not That Into You” is set in Baltimore, and weaves together several stories about love, romance and everything in between.

Jennifer Connelly plays a woman stuck in a tired marriage with Ben (Bradley Cooper). Kevin Connolly plays a guy named Connor, who’s pining after a woman who’s having an affair with Ben.

More after the jump, including a trailer…
