Megan Fox: Michael Bay is an awkward Hitler
September 2, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
That Megan Fox. She’ll say anything, won’t she? At least, she did in a recent interview with Wonderland magazine. Maybe if you look like her, you can get away with anything. Or maybe, she’s just telling the truth when comparing Michael Bay, her director on “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” to Hitler. She says:
“God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for, but when …read more
Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body – She’s a bad, bad girl
August 13, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
I’m not so big on horror movies, but "Jennifer’s Body" looks just cheesy enough that I might have to check it out.
For one thing, it’s written by Diablo Cody ("Juno" and "The United States of Tara"). And it stars Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody, Amy Sedaris and J.K. Simmons. All great actors who would be fun in this type of movie.
Plus, it gives Megan Fox a chance to really play up the bad girl thing. She plays a possessed high schooler-turned serial killer who specializes in offing her male classmates. Seyfried plays her best friend who’s …read more
Transformers scores IMAX record with $14.4 million
June 29, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
There’s no denying that "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" may be short on plot, but high on special effects action — which makes it the perfect movie for IMAX theaters. Read my review here.
The sequel from Paramount raked in an estimated five-day gross of $14.4 million on 169 IMAX screens, the largest haul ever for the big screens.
Directed by Michael Bay and starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox (though the real stars are the giant robots), the action flick earned a per screen average of $85K plus between June 24 –28, 2009.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Transformers" …read more
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – Review (Special FX take center stage)
June 27, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Movie: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen * 32 Images * Gecko Links * Official Site
In Theaters: June 24, 2009
Runtime: 150 minutes
Directed by: Michael Bay
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi action, violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material
Gecko Rating:
It’s best if you go into "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" expecting nothing more than a big action flick with giant robots, because that’s pretty much what it is. The special effects are darn awesome, but the plot can be summed up by saying that two factions of warring robots battle it out on earth, …read more
Megan Fox stops by the Late Show with David Letterman
June 27, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
On June 25, Megan Fox stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman to promote her new film, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," which opened in theaters last week.
The stunning actress co-stars with Shia LaBeouf and a bunch of giant robots in the sequel. She’s so tiny, and is that a Marilyn Monroe tattoo on her arm? Maybe she identifies with the blonde bombshell…?

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” hits theaters (IMAX and conventional) this Wednesday, June 24, 2009, and it looks Totally Awesome, Man!! (Couldn’t help myself). But it really does look like a fantastic summer blockbuster for Dreamworks/Paramount.
The story picks up where the first “Transformers” movie left off, with the evil Decepticons returning to Earth to take Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) prisoner. He’s learned the truth about the origins of the ginormous robots, but he’s got Optimus Prime watching his back. In short, it’s a robot battle to end all robot battles.
Directed by Michael Bay, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” also …read more
Tyrese Gibson – Megan Fox is sexy in real life, too
June 21, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
In case you haven’t heard, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is exploding onto movie screens this Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Check out the trailer here.
Did Shia LaBeouf, who plays Sam Witwicky in the movie, have a moment’s hesitation when Michael Bay called him to do the sequel? No way! "Oh yeah, for sure — because [the phone's] not even listed as Michael Bay — it’s just listed as pick up."
Tyrese Gibson, who plays USAF Tech Sergeant Epps, has nicknames for various co-stars and crewmembers, like "Boom Boom Bay-ster" for Michael Bay and "Foxy" (of course!) for Megan …read more
