2009 Teen Choice Awards – Complete List of Winners
August 10, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Miley Cyrus and the "Twilight" gang picked up multiple awards at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
Cyrus won for comedy TV actress and comedy TV show for "Hannah Montana," music/dance movie actress and hissy fit for the "Hannah Montana" movie, music single for "The Climb" and summer song for "Before the Storm."
Cyrus also presented Britney Spears (pictured) with the Ultimate Choice Award. They showed a montage of Spears’ work leading up to this point, and she almost seemed like her old self when she accepted the award. Let’s hope all of her troubles are behind her. She really … [Read More]
Learn the Hoedown Throwdown from Hannah Montana: The Movie!
April 19, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
One of the happiest scenes from "Hannah Montana: The Movie" is where Miley Cyrus gets onstage at the barn party and does the "Hoedown Throwdown." Of course, the entire crowd picks it up immediately (gee, you’d almost think they practiced it beforehand!), and the whole place is rocking in no time.
Ok, so I’ve got the scoop on how to do the "Hoedown Throwdown," thanks to Walt Disney Studios UK. Check it out below with guides Miley Cyrus and her choreographer, and let me know if you and your kids master all the moves!
Hannah Montana: The Movie – Review

Movie: Hannah Montana: The Movie * Trailer * Official Site
In Theaters: April 10, 2009
Runtime: 102 minutes
Directed by: Peter Chelsom
MPAA Rating: G
Gecko Rating:
“Hannah Montana: The Movie” is predictable and Disney Channel-ish, but it will appeal to tween girls who like the Hannah Montana show and Miley Cyrus. It’s rated G, which is kind of refreshing in a sea of inappropriate PG and PG-13 rated movies aimed at that age group. There’s nothing to be worried about with this movie.
The plot follows the popular Disney Channel character Hannah Montana, and her dilemma of being torn between two worlds. There’s … [Read More]

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience - Review
March 2, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Movie: Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience * Trailer * Official Site
In Theaters: Feb. 27, 2009
Runtime: 76 minutes
Directed by: Bruce Hendricks
MPAA Rating: G
Gecko Rating:
I knew “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” would be a lot like “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour,” because, well, for a lot of reasons.
Both movies were directed by Bruce Hendricks. Both are populated with Disney stars. Both are geared for tweens. Both are based on concert tours of aforementioned Disney stars. Basically, they’re the same movie, only with different faces. The faces in this one being Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and … [Read More]
The Jonas Brothers 3D Concert Experience – Sneak Peek, Preview and Fan Videos
February 25, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Here’s my theory on why the Jonas Brothers are so popular: they’re young and fresh, they obviously love their fans, their singing isn’t half bad, and the tween crowd loves them. Plus, the whole purity ring business is a good thing (even if it was engineered by a publicist, which I’m just cynical enough to think might be the case).
At any rate, Nick, Joe and Kevin are headed to the big screen. “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” will be in theaters this Friday, Feb. 27, 2009. It’s 76 minutes long and rated G (yay!). The film blends footage … [Read More]
Oscars: Miley Cyrus on the Red Carpet
February 22, 2009 by Jane Boursaw
Miley Cyrus is one of the first stars to make her way down the red carpet at tonight’s Oscars. . I LOVE her dress. She said that it must weigh 100,000 lbs., and just looking at it, I believe it. What do you think?

The youngsters are taking over the Oscars this year! And it’s just days away! ABC’s live telecast from Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre will air this Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET.
Robert Pattinson, the hunky vampire Edward Cullen in "Twilight" and the upcoming "New Moon," will be presenting, though I haven’t heard which award it will be. Also no word on whether his co-star, Kristen Stewart, will be by his side. Next up for the 22-year-old British actor is "Little Ashes," in which he’ll play artist Salvador Dali.
