Kristen Stewart Pregnant with Rob’s baby? Or just creating New Moon movie buzz?

July 7, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

In the “Twilight” rumor of the week, the gossip hounds are reporting that Kristen Stewart is pregnant with Rob Pattinson’s baby. Also that she asked a friend to buy a pregnancy test so the paparazzi wouldn’t catch her in the act herself.
Of course, publicists have been known to spread rumors to attract attention to their stars, and Kristen actually mentions that in a Twitter update: “For all I know, my publicist might have done that.”
What’s your take on it? Is she really pregnant? Or are they just trying to create movie buzz for the release of “The Twilight Saga: New … [Read More]

Much of the population might think that vampire Edward Cullen and his human alter-ego Robert Pattinson is cuter than cute. But he doesn’t share that feeling, and says that not only did he almost back out of auditioning for the role, but seeing himself on screen makes him sick!
For the rest of us, we’ll get to see Pattinson as the sultry vampire again on Nov. 20, 2009, when "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" hits theaters.

David Slade to direct Eclipse

April 22, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

Most people probably haven’t heard of David Slade, but he’s landed the coveted job of directing "Eclipse," the third movie in the "Twilight" saga.
Slade’s main directorial efforts include 2007’s "30 Days of Night," a horror flick about vampires in Alaska (see the connection?!), and 2005’s "Hard Candy," in which Ellen Page plays a girl who decides to go after a suspected pedophile in her own way. So he’s got those two edgy movies in his repertoire.
"Eclipse" is scheduled for a June 30, 2010 release date, and Melissa Rosenberg will pen the screenplay. She also wrote the screenplays for … [Read More]

Ryan Reynolds: I’m not gay, but I love Robert Pattinson

March 26, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

Ryan Reynolds is sharing the spotlight in “Adventureland” with one “Twilight” star – Kristen Stewart. But he’s declared his love for another – Robert Pattinson.
He joked to MTV: “Robert Pattinson in a word: dreamy … Look, I’m not gay — but I’m thinking about it.”
And Reynolds wouldn’t mind doing a movie with the fictional vampire either. But for now, he’ll have to be satisfied with Kristen Stewart, whom he’d love to work with again. "She’s an old, old soul," he said. "Sometimes I wonder if she’s one of the Golden Girls with a great face lift … I … [Read More]

His first major role, as Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movies, appealed to kids and adults of all ages. Then came, at about the same time, “Twilight” and “Little Ashes,” an R-rated movie in which he played … [Read More]

Over on Film Gecko’s "New Moon Casting News and Rumors" thread, Andrea Palmer commented that the song "Unbeautiful" by Lesley Roy (and "Breathe" by Taylor Swift – check out that video here) would make great songs for "New Moon," when Edward leaves Bella. I found this fan-made video on YouTube (by musicalemo13), and agree it would be great for "New Moon." What do you think?  Would you like to see "Unbeautiful" used in "New Moon"?
