Sandra Bullock loves getting naked with Ryan Reynolds

I’m almost afraid to see “The Proposal,” because I’ll be coveting Sandra Bullock so much when she gets naked with Ryan Reynolds. In the movie, she plays a driven book publisher who blackmails her assistant, played by Reynolds, into marrying her.
In an EOnline interview, Bullock (pictured, at her David Letterman appearance this week), says the naked scene was completely scripted and choreographed.
“I give all hats off to [director] Anne Fletcher, because she’s brilliant. It became very technical. It was like a dance. It was like we were doing ‘All That Jazz.’ But if you use what’s on your body as a joke — my nakedness — and then you have another body that’s rock hard…”
No, not THAT kind of hard! Bullock was quick to qualify her statement. “Ryan is rock hard, but no no no no, nothing was hard. I’m sure it gets hard, but not that time, and it was all fine. I mean, I wouldn’t know if he had anything down there because I never looked! Anyway, when my soft face, hit his rock-hard abs, there’s going to be a cause and effect.”
I’ve loved Sandra Bullock since her “Speed” days; such a great sense of humor and down-to-earth quality about her. Read the full interview here, where Bullock talks about her butt, boobs, and the awesomeness of Betty White. “The Proposal” hits theaters June 19, 2009.

Jennifer Aniston attended the screening of her new film “Management,” in which she plays an art saleswoman who tries to ditch a motel manager who won’t leave her alone.
Directed by Stephen Belber, the film is rated R for language. It opens in limited release on May 15, 2009, and also stars Steve Zahn and Woody Harrelson, two of my favorite actors.
The screening took place at the Landmark Sunshine Theater in New York City.
And may I just say that I do yoga, and my body looks nothing like Jennifer Aniston’s…? Ok, thanks.
After the jump, more pictures and a “Management” trailer…
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past – Preview & Trailer

Matthew McConaughey continues to be one of my favorite romantic comedy stars, and his real-life girlfriend says he (and their new baby) is such a flirt, so I guess the genre is right up his alley.
In "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," McConaughey plays Connor Mead, a confirmed bachelor and celeb photographer who has no qualms about breaking up with several women on a conference call. While at his younger brother’s wedding, Connor nearly single-handedly ruins the wedding, and gets haunted by not only his hard-partying uncle (Michael Douglas), but also the ghosts of his past, present and future girlfriends. Jennifer Garner plays Jenny Perotti, the one girlfriend who maybe shouldn’t have gotten away.

Tina Fey and Steve Carell plan Date Night

Ever have one of those wacky dates where you go out for dinner and a movie, and end up on some wild caper? Yeah, me neither, but with Steve Carell and Tina Fey, it could happen!
That’s the premise of "Date Night," their new comedy from 20th Century Fox being directed by Shawn Levy.
Mark Wahlberg, James Franco, Taraji P. Henson, Common and Jimmi Simpson are also on board, along with Leighton Meester and Kristen Wiig.
Wahlberg will play a private security/black ops agent, while Franco will play a con man.
This could either be really funny or not-so-funny, depending on how it all comes together. But with Carell and Fey as leads, you’ve gotta think it’s going to be funny. I have high hopes anyway.

Hugh Dancy (I like to think of him as Darling Hugh Dancy) is currently in theaters in “Confessions of a Shopaholic.” The story pairs him with Isla Fisher, who plays a girl obsessed with shopping.
Based on the “Shopaholic” books by Sophie Kinsella, I loved this movie and wouldn’t mind seeing it again. Read my review here, and check out Hugh’s interview with Paul Byrne of Movies.ie:
"Confessions of a Shopaholic" Review

Movie: Confessions of a Shopaholic * Trailer * Official Site | In Theaters: Feb. 13, 2009 |
Runtime: 112 minutes | Directed by: P. J. Hogan |
MPAA Rating: PG for some mild language and thematic elements | Gecko Rating: |
I’m a huge fan of all the Sophie Kinsella books, and “Confessions of a Shopaholic” is based on her book by the same name. It’s about a woman named Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher – pronounced “I-la”)) who LOVES to shop.
There are more books in the series, including “Shopaholic Ties the Knot,” “Shopaholic & Sister,” “Shopaholic Takes Manhattan,” and “Shopaholic & Baby,” so I’m really, really (picture me in my most persistent voice here) hoping they make more of these movies, with Isla Fisher in the lead role. She’s so sweet and funny, and such a great comedic actress. She’s a Lucille Ball for the new age.

"Confessions of a Shopaholic" – International Trailer

Here’s the international trailer for "Confessions of a Shopaholic," in theaters next Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. Hmmm, "Friday the 13th" or "Confessions"? Yeah, well, if you’ve been reading Film Gecko for a while, you know I’m not really into the horror movies. But I actually might have to see this one because my 14-year-old son wants to see it, and I want to see if it’s too scary for me, I mean him. Nothing scares him!
Anyway, I digress. Check out this trailer. I think it’s a bit longer than the one I previously posted. Oh, and if you want to see Isla Fisher’s crotch shot on "The Late Show," click here.
