It’s not often you get a reboot that takes you right back into the story and characters without being cheesy. But "Star Trek" manages to do just that. Under J.J. The stars came out in full force for the Los Angeles premiere of “Star Trek,” held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on April 30, 2009. That’s Playboy bunny and Girl Next Door herself, Kendra Wilkinson, pictured below. See more pics after the jump. The rest of us can see the movie when it arrives in theaters at warp speed on May 8, 2009.

Mickey Rourke’s comeback is full steam ahead, with the Hollywood premiere of “The Informers,” an ensemble film about a group of people in L.A. circa 1983. The movie also stars Kim Basinger, Billy Bob Thornton, Winona Ryder, Amber Heard, and Chris Isaak. It sounds a little like 2004’s “Crash” – you know, lots of intersecting stories.
And don’t forget that Rourke and Basinger starred in the erotic “9 1/2 Weeks” in 1986, so it was probably a little weird for them being back together on a movie.

We’re just making final tweaks to the movie — we should be totally locked next week. Then we’re going to flash-freeze it so it’s totally fresh for you in May. I can’t wait for you to see the movie.
