Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg star in Zombieland – watch the trailer

September 16, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

I posted a few funny TV spots for “Zombieland” last week, and here’s the official trailer. If you’re into zombies, then you should probably check out this movie (I also recommend “Dead Snow” – awesome zombies).
In theaters Oct. 2, 2009, “Zombieland” stars Jesse Eisenberg as Columbus, a guy who’s made a habit of running from whatever scares him. On the flipside, Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) has no fears whatsoever. And if he did, he’d make whatever scared him sorry they were ever born.
But the world is overrun by zombies, and these two opposites find themselves trying to survive not only …read more

George Clooney: Giving up the publicity tours?

September 12, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

I would imagine that all the publicity an actor has to do would get tiring after a while. I mean, making the movie is probably just a small part of the acting business. Once you make the movie, you have to get out there and promote it.
But George Clooney says he’s all done with the publicity – although the story in The Hollywood Reporter’s Showbiz411.com blog doesn’t make it clear whether he’s just giving up Oscar promotion or movie promotion altogether. Is Clooney a big enough star that he doesn’t have to promote his movies? People will just …read more

2012 Trailer – The disaster movie to end all disaster movies

September 5, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

Director Roland Emmerich’s “2012” is set for a Nov. 13, 2009 release, and the trailer below looks pretty intense. The disaster movie to end all disaster movies.
The cast is impressive, too: John Cusack, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Amanda Pete, Danny Glover, and George Segal, to name a few. The story centers on a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world as we know it, and the heroic struggle of the survivors left behind. See what you think of the trailer:

Jennifer Aniston attends Management screening in NYC

May 5, 2009 by Jane Boursaw

Jennifer Aniston attended the screening of her new film “Management,” in which she plays an art saleswoman who tries to ditch a motel manager who won’t leave her alone.
Directed by Stephen Belber, the film is rated R for language. It opens in limited release on May 15, 2009, and also stars Steve Zahn and Woody Harrelson, two of my favorite actors.
The screening took place at the Landmark Sunshine Theater in New York City.
And may I just say that I do yoga, and my body looks nothing like Jennifer Aniston’s…? Ok, thanks.
After the jump, more pictures and a “Management” trailer… …read more
